Deborah Thomas has joined the Gold Coast Office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage having formerly been the #1 Agent in the South Loop Office. Deborah is among the top 100 agents in Coldwell Banker’s City Region and she is a member of Coldwell Banker’s President’s Elite group which has her ranked among the top 2% of agents nationwide. Deborah’s expertise is representing individuals in the sale, purchase and leasing of luxury residential properties. She has also become the largest cooperative broker for Museum Park and has developed a specialty for selling new construction properties in the South Loop. From condominiums to single family homes, Deborah and her team have represented homeowners and buyers as well as investors. Deborah takes a unique approach on property listings and she generally will co-list with another agent within the Coldwell Banker network. This provides sellers will dual coverage and additional market expertise and reach whether it is Chicago’s exciting South Loop, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, West Loop, River North, New East Side or other areas in the city.

Deborah has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry and prior to joining Coldwell Banker; she served as a Senior Vice President with Northern Trust Bank. Deborah brings a combination of business experience, industry knowledge and interpersonal skills that allow her to provide clients personalized strategies and a full service approach to buying or selling their home. She understands that buying or selling a property can be stressful so she provides clients full service from making or accepting an offer to the closing of the sale or purchase. She understands the importance of building a great team with the common goal of delivering high quality service and unrivaled client satisfaction. Deborah strives to bring new and innovative solutions to client's real estate needs and to build long-term, mutually rewarding relationships.

Deborah also specializes in Chicago’s exciting South Loop neighborhood where she has resided for the past 14 years. Deborah and her team offer quality service and a proven track record of success. She also provides clients with a quarterly newsletter, a bi-monthly magazine and occasional seminars to keep them abreast of market trends and new developments. Her goal is to provide excellent market knowledge of all communities served which gives her clients an advantage during the property search process as well as when marketing their homes for sale.

Deborah holds a B.A. degree in economics from Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts, and a M.M. degree from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management with concentrations in finance, marketing, and managerial economics. Deborah is also active in non-profit organizations throughout Chicago.
