Denny Scott

I started working in Plainfield at the age of sixteen at my parent's furniture store called Kitchen Fabulous. In 1982 I took over the family business and changed the name to Scott's Furniture and Floor Coverings. At Scott's I dealt with professional people such as engineers and custom builders. My favorite part of the business was working with homeowners in making furniture and floor covering decisions.

In 1994 I sold Scott's and started a new business called Just 4 Fun. Being the designer and developer of this property I had many dealings with contractors, engineers, and town officials. With this experience I gained insight as to what it takes to make a commercial idea come to life.
