I live on my 13 acres with my Giant Schnauzer Ellie, my kitties and 4 horses(two paints and two half draft[picture]).I ride western, english and since I am lazy-a lot of bareback. My big boys also drive. I've raised my horses from before birth.
I drove semi's - solo, for 25 years starting in 1976. I drove doubles, triples, flat beds, car haulers and tankers, I taught commercial driving at Community College in Oregon, I have taught appx 150 or more people to drive truck. I operated heavy equipment at Freeport McMoran Gold Mine in Nevada, I drove 80T, 100T and 120Ton wabcos(haul-pak) & certified on the 992Cat and smaller cats. I have been the "1st" women to work many jobs in this country & I always prided myself in being capable & good at what I do. I am a mountain wildfire fighter, & have worked some of the biggest fires in the California & Oregon Mountains. I was an engine operator, working side by side with air command and the helicopter pilots and crews. I've been on helicopter rescue teams & I've been on rescue missions.
