Prior to joining Realty One Group as a Realtor/Broker Salesperson, Michael Colandone was the Vice President of Sales for two companies in the Las Vegas area. One Company was a fortune 500-National Home Builder where Michael earned many awards as a top producing salesperson which lead to his eventual promotions within the company, the second and most recent, was a local high-end home builder specializing in multi-million dollar homes and loft lifestyle properties. In addition, he has managed construction of thousands of homes in Las Vegas as a superintendent and project manager with three home builders. Also, he is a managing partner with a Ventura County, California Developer that has successfully built and sold loft condominium projects in downtown Ventura, California.
His first job after he graduated California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, was a Quality Control Auditor for The Bank of New York's Mortgage Subsidiary. He conducted audits of loan files both "in process" and "closed" for regulatory compliance and fraud. In addition, his strong work ethic eventually earned a promotion to Customer Service Manager.
Michael has an extensive production background having worked as a finish carpenter, framer and fine-finish painter on some of the finest homes in Beverly Hills and Malibu, California. He admits, the experience of physically working on such fine properties honed and developed his eye for detail and increased his passion for the Real Estate Business.
