Welcome to our website! Let us introduce ourselves! We are Ed and Margaret (Mac) Nelson, and we are permanent residents of Emerald Isle, after having been weekend residents for 10 years. We are members of the Carteret Country Association of Realtors, and practice real estate as the Nelson Advantage Team! Having been married for 28 years, we are interchangeable, as we exchange information and help each other with our clients. Our clients are also our friends, and our goal is to create a lifelong relationship with each one of them.

You will have that plan IN WRITING, when we list your home, and we will update you on the progress weekly or more often if activity merits an update. If desired, we will do a walk through of your home, suggest things to do to help it look its "BUY" best, and provide a list of helpful hints. We will provide a detailed, comparable market analysis that will show you where you might price your home based on your objectives. We will also take you to view your competition and provide updates of what has come on the market and what has sold. We will also review where we are with your property on an ongoing basis, so we can suggest a change of strategy, if we feel it is needed to meet your objectives. It is ALL ABOUT YOU!
IF YOU ARE BUYING A HOME: We can show you anything in the Carteret County area. Once we know your objectives, we will watch the Multiple Listing Service and contact you if anything that fits your needs comes on the market. We will go preview properties for you and send pictures via E Mail if you are out of town. Our negiating skills can help you get the property you want at the best price possible. And we promise to help make the closing process as painless as possible, and get you into your dream home as quickly as possible.
AND THE BEST PART: We offer FULL SERVICE REAL ESTATE WITHOUT the FULL COST! Our commission rate is 3.9%, and we give the selling agent 2%, not a reduced rate! As a seller, you will save thousands on real estate commissions. Because of what we wanted when we did not live here full time, we decided we would make information flow a BIG part of our Real Estate Service. Both of us have our Realtors license, and Mac has been actively practicing in Emerald Isle since 2006. Mac has her ABR which is an Accredited Buyers Representative credential, and both of us are Associate Brokers, with MBA's (Masters of Business Administration)
