Cyndi & Don Shurts

Raised in Dayton, Ohio by caring, hard working parents, Don learned from them many of the skills that have brought him success and satisfaction during his career of service in the Miami Valley. Don’s father was a small business owner in the city and a professional archer for all of Don’s childhood.

“When I was a child my father taught me how to shoot archery. The keys to successfully hitting the target were a steady hand, proper stance, and careful aim by sighting down the shaft of the arrow to the bullseye,” Don recalls. “He taught me well...I won the first meet I entered.
