Born and raised in Westerly RI,
Graduated from Westerly High School and earned teaching degree from the University of RI.
Retired after 32 years in education 16 of which were principal of 2 elementary schools in Westerly.
Co-authored a book called "A Certain Kind of Love" which told 18 true stories depicting the love and heart ache involved in raising Special Needs Children.
Currently enrolled in real estate contiuning education classes through the RI Association of Realtors.
