After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1997 with a B.S. in biology, Amber went to work as a sales representative for a major pharmaceutical company. In 2001 she regretfully gave up a job she loved in order to further her education. Amber made the move from her home state of Illinois to Bryan/College Station to pursue a Master’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A & M University.
Amber now calls Kurten, Texas home where she lives along with her four horses and her dog, Casey. She has many varied interests and says she’s just as happy in the mall shopping for the latest fashions as she is getting dirty working in the barn. Never one to shy away from a new adventure, Amber believes that with a little innovation and a lot of determination anything is possible because “where there is a will, there is a way.”
