I retired from the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. Having enlisted in the Navy in Hopewell, VA I served in Viet Nam working on riverboat repair. I returned to Hopewell for a short period in 1971 to work at Hercules. Having feelings of leaving something unfinished I went back in the Navy and became involved in welding inspection. Having advanced to Chief Petty Officer I served as the senior welding inspector at two nuclear submarine repair facilities. I took a commission as an Ensign in 1977 under the Limited Duty (Engineer) program. I served in various Engineering management positions to include five years as the Production Officer at the Ship Repair Facility in Charleston, SC. After retiring I worked Engineering management positions in several different states before returning home to the Tri-Cities area. I obtained a BA in Business Administration (Management) with honors in 2002 from Saint Leo University My Education and Experience working with others makes the perfect combination to help you find your dream home.
