We moved to Klickitat County from the Yakima Valley; which is just about 100 miles NE of White Salmon, in the fall/winter of 1981. That first winter was a memorable one, we had snow that completely covered our old Ford F-150 wood hauling truck. Quite shocking for someone that had been born and raised in the high desert climate of Central Washington. Yes, that first winter was cold, but, the people were so warm, Elmer and I knew then this would always be our home. Looking back it's easy to see we made the right choice. Two of our 3 girls, Mindy, Marcy, and Jessica, graduated from Columbia High School in White Salmon. Over the years my husband Elmer has been very active in the school and community, and I've been very active running our home, volunteering in activities that involved the girls, and operating my beauty salons; first Beaute Chalet and then with my partner, Linda Hilkey, Today's Chalet in White Salmon. I'll always be grateful for the outstanding community support those businesses were given.

Today we're empty nesters, and it seems we're busier than ever. When your kids leave home, you really don't loose little faces around the house....you gain....grandchildren; our grandkids are Brandon, Aleigha, Taylor and Conner! Elmer has taken up photography, and is a basketball referee active in the Gorge Officials Referee Association, so, please be nice to the guys in stripes!. I'm busy with home, family, volunteer work, and of course loving my real estate career. I've been a licensed real estate agent and member of National Association of Realtors® for 3 1/2 years now. These past 3 1/2 years I've been the property manager for the property management division of the company. I look forward to using the knowledge, skills, and network of service professionals I've gained to offer buyers and sellers the best service available. I'm proud to identify myself as a Realtor® and adhere strictly to the Realtor® Code of Ethics.
